Arrive Cape Town - transfer to
hotel. Overnight President hotel |

2 |
A pleasant and relaxed day tour of
the Cape Town City Centre including Table Mountain, and
the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. |

3 |
Full day tour of the Cape
Peninsular. This tour includes a boat trip in Hout Bay
to see the seals, entry and "railway" at Cape Point, a
visit to the penguins at Boulders Beach. Overnight in
Cape Town. |

4 |
Tour via Somerset West to Betty's
Bay, on to Grabouw. Return to Cape Town. Overnight |
The highlights of these 3
days:
- Table Mountain and
its' unique
fynbos flora
- The Cape Peninsular
and Cape Point and the opportunity to
walk through some of the Natural areas
- Somerset West /
Betty's Bay - see some of the coastal
fynbos
- Kirstenbosch and the collection of
indigenous plants

The next three days focus on the
unique Namaqualand Region: Tour via Melkbosstrand to
Clanwilliam. Overnight Clanwilliam |
| Day 6 |
A circular tour via the Vanrynspass
back to Clanwilliam. |
| Day 7 |
Via Prince Alfred Hamlet
to Worcester. Overnight Protea Hotel Cumberland |
The highlights of these 3
days:
- The Clanwilliam and Worcester areas
fall in the Namaqualand Region - famous
for the annual seasonal bloom of
flowers. Literally unending fields of
flowering daisies, mixed with a unique
variety of "stone plants" and other
succulents.
- Explore three distinctive vegetation
types, namely,
Strandveld, Renosterveld and Sandveld.

| Day 8 |
Via Montague, Barrydale, Calitzdorp to Oudtshoorn.
Overnight The Thorntree - a four-star lodge on the
outskirts of Oudtshoorn in the
Little Karoo. |
| Day 9 |
An eay day touring the area. We visit the
Cango caves as well as an ostrich farm. Late afternoon back to Oudtshoorn. Overnight The Thorntree. |
| Day 10 |
A circular tour though
the Swartberge (Black Mountains). The tour drives
through Meiringspoort, Prince Albert, over the Swartberg
Pass and back to Oudtshoorn. Overnight The Thorntree |

11 |
A spectacular drive over the Outeniqua
mountains to George. Onwards over the Kaaimans River
Pass and Wilderness to the scenic Tsitsikamma National
Park. A variety of walks can be done here, both along
the coast and along the rocky cliffs. Overnight
Tsitsikamma Village Inn. |
The highlights of these 4
days:
- Coastal flora changing to Alpine
communities
- The semi-desert area of the Karoo
with its' unique flora
- The Cape Fold Mountains and the
fantastic geology
- The Tsitsikamma Forest and the huge
Podocarpus specimens
- The transition zone between the Cape
Fynbos and the Sub-tropical east coast
flora

12 |
A short drive to Port Elizabeth to the
airport for the mid-morning flight to Durban. A short
city tour in the afternoon and then on to Umhlanga to
overnight. |

13 |
Visit Mlalazi Nature Reserve – back to
umHlanga – overnight Protea Hotel |
The highlights of these 2
days:
- Transition from Dune Pioneer plants
to Forested Dunes
- Mangrove communities
- Raffia Palms - the longest palm
fronds of any species.

Drop off Durban airport
Meet group in Jhb airport – visit Pretoria National
botanical Gardens. Overnight Protea Capital Pretoria |

To White River area – overnight Pine

Pilgrim’s Rest, Lone Creek Falls,
God’s Window, Blyde River, overnight Blydepoort Aventura |

Over Abel Erasmus Pass, to Skukuza -

Full day safari in the Kruger
National Park on open vehicles. Overnight in the park |

days:
- Pretoria National Botanical Gardens
- The Mpumalanga escarpment area
varying from 1600m to 2000m above sea
level
- The active "Tufa" waterfall
- The "Panorama Route" - waterfalls,
views, vistas and beautiful nature
- The
Lowveld and the Kruger National
